MAY 2021 | Nick Johnston

We definitely can’t provide services to Veterans without our wonderful Volunteers …. however, we definitely wouldn’t be here today without the vision of Nick Johnston, a Vietnam Veteran who had a hand in starting the St. Cloud StandDown over 22 years ago. StandDown brings a wide range of supportive services to one location accessible by all Veterans. Every Veteran, regardless of service, age, gender, creed, or need, is Welcome at the St. Cloud StandDown. Thanks to Nick for his years of dedication and volunteer time on the board of directors, setting up expo events to serve homeless, at risk or Veterans in need….and now making it possible to serve Veterans on a daily basis from our permanent building at 724 33rd Ave. N., St. Cloud. Stop by have a cup of coffee with Nick and tour the facility. Nick, Thank you and congratulations on being the Best of the Best Volunteers for MAY!
